Tanna Island is less than an hour flight from Port Vila and Air Vanuatu provides daily flights between Port Vila and Tanna. Air Vanuatu operates an ATR 42 aircraft between Port Vila & Tanna offering increased comfort and capacity with a flying time of only 35minutes.

Unity Airline also flies to Tanna, subject to demand/booking; Unity Airline has designed a smashing day trip package where one can fly to Tanna during the day to expereicne Mt. Yasur Volcano including the hot spring, custom villages and then fly back to Port Vila in the afternoon. This is a full day tour departing Port Vila around 7am and return to Port Vila around 4pm in the afternoon.
